Week 5
Jacksonville caused a stir when it drafted a QB in the first round, despite having 2011 Round 1 QB selection Blaine Gabbert still on its roster. Turned out, the competition was just what Gabbert needed. Gabbert set forth an impressive performance against the Patriots, well-utilizing his new talented rookie WRs. The effort wasn't enough to outlast the Patriots, however. New England wins an unexpected shootout, 50-30.
Week 6
Despite strong showings by TE Owen Daniels and veteran WR Kevin Walter, H-town again shows that it relies a bit too heavily on RB Arian Foster and WR Andre Johnson. New England adopts the same strategy it used against the Texans in last year's AFC Championship game, and the Pats roll, 49-27.
