The Week 2 - Kansas City vs. New England match-up didn't disappoint, as this clash of titans went down to the wire, with Matt Cassel marching his team just outside of the redzone with less than 20 seconds left in the game, down 30 to 36, couldn't connect with his receivers in the endzone against a Patriots' prevent defense. Here, Patriots WR Wes Welker (#83) catches the third touchdown pass thrown from QB Tom Brady (the other two went to RB Danny Woodhead and TE Rob Gronkowksi). Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles led all backs with total rushing yards (110) and yards per carry (5.1), Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco led all WRs in receptions and receiving yards, and Chiefs QB Matt Cassel actually outplayed his former teammate, finishing with a 104.9 passer rating (versus Brady's 100.5) and tied with Brady's TD-INT metric for the game (3-0). Also notable is that Patriot-turned-Chief RB Sammy Morris barely made an appearance, but Patriot-turned-Chief DE Ty Warren made his presence felt, sacking Brady twice.
