Arizona fans watched a fired-up New England return to plus-.500 status
GLENDALE, Arizona - The Patriots traveled to the University of Phoenix Stadium in this Week 5 match-up of the Patriots against the Cardinals. Both teams were 2-2 going into this one, and Arizona's new HC Brian Daboll had his team playing exceptionally well. 'Zona's dynamic duo RBs of Chris "Beanie" Wells and Tim Hightower ran well against the Patriots, and QB Kevin Kolb did well thanks to WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston. However, the Patriots revamped their offensive approach again, but this time instead of employing more 5-WR set usage, they got RB Deshaun Copeland more involved in the passing game as a receiving option out of the backfield, which helped the Patriots earn the victory and improve their 2012 record to 3-2.
