New England was able to overcome a 10-3 deficit at halftime to win the game
SEATTLE, Washington - Facing Pete Carroll's squad in Week 9, Seattle was 3 and 4 coming into the game, and made the controversial move of benching veteran QB Matt Hasselbeck and starting rookie QB Eaton Grace. Grace did well in the spotlight, going into the half with better stats than Patriots QB Tom Brady, but New England would muster up a rally in the third and fourth quarters to grab the lead, and Patriots CB Devin McCourty's leaping batting-down of a fourth down, last-second pass into the endzone single-handedly precluded overtime.
