2011 Week 10 - Broncos outshoot Patriots, 44-41

Patriots HC Bill Belichick congratulates Broncos HC Josh McDaniels on the victory

DENVER, Colorado - This week 10 battle at Invesco Field at Mile High resulted in some mile high scoring. Denver's RB Knowshon Moreno ran all over the Patriots' defense, and second-year QB Tim Tebow, starting for the injured Kyle Orton, lit up New England, throwing 4 TDs and 0 INTs. The Patriots got the ball back in the fourth with a few ticks (15 seconds, to be precise) left on the clock, but the obvious deep bombs didn't connect. Patriots move to 7-2 on the season.

Despite the loss, Patriots WR/KR Wes Welker had an outstanding day with 2 kick returns for touchdowns, helping his team win the "Very Special Teams" trophy presented by Sony and Electronic Arts.
