Patriots QB Tom Brady connected with rookie WR Sean Addison for 3 of his five TDs in this game
BUFFALO, New York - Not unlike how New England destroyed Oakland in its Week 5 match-up, the Patriots also defeated the much lower rated Buffalo Bills this weekend. Brady dissected Buffalo's secondary for 5 touchdowns and finishing the game with nearly 450 yards passing, and on defense, the simple approach yet again was to contain the running back (in this case, C.J. Spiller instead of D-Mac), and force the QB to win over the top (in this case, Ryan Fitzpatrick instead of Bruce Gradkowski). The strategy worked very successfully and the Pats win in a rout of Buffalo, 38 to 13, to proceed to being 4 and 1 on the season so far, and part of a 4-way tie for best record in the NFL.
