Patriots QB Tom Brady connects on a Hail Mary to win the game in regulation
EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey - New England's defense kept this game close, as Brady would throw 4 INTs against Jets coach Rex Ryan's extremely aggressive defense. After the Jets had jumped out to a 14-nothing lead, and the game featured multiple lead changes, most people expected overtime. Jets QB Mark "Sanchize"'s play was nothing spectacular, but Jets one-two RB punch of LaDanian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene was stellar, as the two would combine for over 200 yards on the ground and 3 rushing TDs. Nevertheless, with 3 seconds left in a tie ballgame in the 4th, Brady saw single coverage against WR Brandon Tate against Gang Green SS Jim Leonard, aired it out deep, and not only did Tate haul it in in stride, but he also left Leonard in the dust and gave his team the win and precluded overtime.
